Top 3 Ways I Have Found to Procrastinate and Waste Time

  1. The Computer – check email, read the news, respond to emails, check blog to see if anyone has left comments, search internet for new recipes, check bank balances, check email, check blog to see if anyone has left comments, surf web aimlessly.

  2. The Phone – call my sister, call my mom, call a friend, call my husband, change the ring tone on my phone, change the volume setting, change the recording on the answering machine using a distorted, unrecognizable voice, change message on answering machine back to normal.

  3. TV – watch HGTV, watch QVC, check all the movie channels to see if any good movies are on, watch 20 minutes of a movie I’ve seen at least 8 times, flip back to HGTV to see the final results of the living room make over, switch back to QVC to catch “Today’s Special Value”, watch part of the Oprah episode I recorded from last week on TiVo.

    Very funny!
Yeah I figured you could relate. I think we both tend to get stuck at the same window.

it’s unfortunate, isn’t it….that we have all these great, unproductive things to amuse us. wireless access at school is fantastic!!!!!!! but such an awful thing at the same time…shouldn’t i be reading or something? instead i am trying to send a massive file to a friend and visiting my fav sites while i wait for my professor’s late arrival. oh, and did you see the beautiful snowflakes this morning!!
